This Privacy Policy describes how WpE ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares
information when you use the NULLBYTE mobile application and related services
(collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Display handle: chosen by you when you first open the app. Stored locally; sent to our servers only if you use multiplayer features (leaderboards, crews, chat).
- Account linking (optional): if you choose to link a Kick.com account, we receive your Kick user ID and display name.
- Payments: in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment card details. We receive a purchase token used to verify and grant the purchased item.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device data: device type, operating system version, app version, locale.
- Game progress: stored on your device. Synced to our servers if you use multiplayer features.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, we receive a stack trace (no personal information).
- Logs: server logs include IP address, request time, and endpoint accessed.
1.3 What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your real name, email, phone, address, or precise location.
- We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs (besides Google Mobile Ads if enabled — see section 4).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the Service (gameplay, leaderboards, crews, chat).
- Validate in-app purchases and prevent fraud.
- Detect cheating, harassment, and abuse.
- Diagnose and fix bugs.
- Communicate with you about important changes.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With Google Play Billing — purchase tokens, for receipt verification.
- With Kick.com — only if you choose to link your Kick account, and only for OAuth authentication.
- As required by law — we will respond to valid legal requests when required.
- In aggregate, anonymized form — for example, "X players are currently online."
4. Advertising
NULLBYTE may display rewarded video ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
You can permanently remove ads via the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.

5. Children
NULLBYTE is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with
information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: kept while your account exists.
- Game progress on device: kept until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
- Server logs: retained up to 30 days.
- Purchase records: kept for 7 years (legal requirement).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to object to processing — you may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Security
- HTTPS for all connections.
- JWT tokens with rotation.
- Hashed PINs and tokens (SHA-256).
- Server-side input validation and rate limiting.
No system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
