WpE Timer
Privacy Policy · last updated 8 October 2026
WpE Timer collects nothing, stores nothing remotely and sends nothing anywhere.
NO DATA LEAVES YOUR DEVICE
The app does not request the INTERNET permission. It is technically incapable
of making a network connection. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no
advertising, no accounts and no third-party SDKs.
WHAT IS STORED, AND WHERE
- The timers and alarms you create: their names, times and durations.
- Your settings: the two chosen sound files, their volumes, vibration, and the floating row's position.
All of it is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. We never receive any of it and cannot access it.
SOUND FILES
When you pick an alarm sound, the app stores a reference to that file and keeps read access to it so the alarm can play it later. The file is not copied, uploaded or read for any other purpose.
PERMISSIONS AND WHY
- Exact alarms — so an alarm goes off at the time you set, not minutes later.
- Full-screen intent — so a ringing alarm appears over the lock screen.
- Notifications — so a ringing alarm is visible and can be dismissed.
- Display over other apps — optional, for the floating row. Off by default.
- Run at startup — so your alarms survive a restart of the phone.
- Vibrate — optional, for vibration when an alarm goes off.
CHILDREN
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
CHANGES
If this policy ever changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date. A change that introduced any data collection would also require a new app version and an updated Data safety declaration on Google Play.
